Hyerim Park is a Research Assistant Professor at the Post-Metaverse Research Center, KAIST, where she studies human–AI interaction in XR. Her work centers on user modeling and adaptive interaction. She interprets multimodal user behavior—questions, actions, gaze, and object interactions—to infer users' information needs, intentions, and cognitive states. She further examines how these user states and their context can be structured as reusable spatiotemporal knowledge, enabling intelligent virtual agents and XR systems to adapt to users across different contexts and over time. Her broader goal is to build XR systems that understand users and provide personalized experiences across domains such as education, tourism, and industry.
