Biography
She received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in arts. She graduated from Le Fresnoy, Studio national des arts contemporains (France) as the first Korean student in the field of contemporary visual arts. After her return to Korea, she received her Ph.D in interactive art. After post-doctoral course with university support (1 year) and National Research Foundation of Korea support (2 years), she worked for three years as an academic research professor of National Research Foundation of Korea. Since then, she has been supported by three research projects with the support of National Research Foundation of Korea. She had lectured on sculpture and visual arts for both undergraduate and graduate courses and worked as researcher in Women’s Studies Center, Film Institute, and Social Science Institute.
